Call for Proposals: Host the 2027 ACM Conference on Equity and Access in Algorithms, Mechanisms, and Optimization

EAAMO is seeking proposals from universities, institutes, and other appropriate venues interested in hosting the 2027 ACM Conference on Equity and Access in Algorithms, Mechanisms, and Optimization (ACM EAAMO).
About ACM EAAMO #
ACM EAAMO aims to highlight work that advances our understanding of the societal embedding of technology and how techniques from algorithms, optimization, and mechanism design, along with insights from the social sciences and humanistic studies, can help improve equity and access to opportunity for underserved communities.
The conference is currently in its sixth year, with previous iterations held at:
- George Mason University
- Boston University
- Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí
- University of Pittsburgh
- LMU Munich
How to Apply #
To register interest in hosting EAAMO, please send an email to ec@eaamo.org with the following information:
- Your proposed location
- Names of one or two academics with ties to your institution who would serve as local or general chair(s)
The executive committee will contact prospective chairs for further discussion on a rolling basis. Feel free to reach out with any questions.
Event Parameters #
Timing: Last week of October or first week of November
Space Requirements:
- One large lecture room (capacity: ≥150 people)
- One smaller room (capacity: ≥40 people)
- Poster session space (≈20 posters)
- Registration, coffee breaks, and lunch areas
